Oh, boys!
The Real Merlin and Arthur - goodness, I don't even have words. I squeeed a LOT during this, but that was partly because OMG, you guys, I worked in that library - my boss was based there and I had to help him quite often, even though I was based in Wrexham. I've been into that collection loads of times! Is it ok, am I allowed to have a little librarian-squee, I don't do it often I swear! And then they went to Theatr Clwyd - my local theatre, I've lost count of the number of plays I saw there. They even used to give us free tickets occasionally (not much as freebies go, I know, but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, and it was the public library service!)

So it felt extra specially for me, even though I know that's mad - and the boys were adorable, and what were they doing in a hotel? I thought they'd have a flat or something rented for them since they spend so much time in Cardiff?

Oh, and did you see, all those Arthurian books that Colin is reading at breakfast are library books! In theory, the same books could be taken out by anyone with a local library card! I shall stop being so excited because it's silly - but it's also my job, omg.

That is very cool that you know the library. I definitely want to go visit that library some time :)

Isn't that weird! Really cool though - I also found it adorable that they were completely useless - they went looking for things that they were late for, missed because it was dark, missed because there was nothing to see, and the things they did see weren't actually related to Arthur and Merlin at all. Basically, it was a half hour programme that talked about nothing!

(I don't mind, half an hour of pretty boys staring at pretty landscapes is fine by me :)

OMG squee!!!!! Feel no shame, it's lovely!

And on a more shallow note, they also gave us half-naked Bradley in bed again - they certainly know their audience :)

Librarian-squee is not only allowed, it's encouraged :)

I should have a librarian icon too, but I don't - at some point, I should remedy that!

I have some lovely Librarianship Motivational Posters from the epic rpg.net thread featuring Giles and the Librarian (ook, ook). Did I ever send you those?

See you tonight for CoT!

I think I did see those - I think I should have a go at making one of my own - I don't do it often, but I think it is a gap that needs filling. I could also look for an icon with Giles in - which would be appropriately cross-fandom :)

Thanks for last night, brilliant food and lovely company!

I've never even been anywhere near that library and I got excited enough to mention and cap it specifically in my journal, so as far as I'm concerned you've got every reason to squee! And then having it topped of with the boys visiting your local theater.

But to come back to that library; I could almost smell those books and I got the impression that Colin's disappointment was genuine.

I mean you saw, it's not that impressive a room, but if you're doing research, it's bloody fantastic! :) I find it ironic, I didn't need Arthurian stuff then - and now I do! Typical.

Still, I'm not knocking my tiny amount of reflected glory :)
